There has been immense demand nationwide for a thin, narrow SORD blade with the most flexibility physically possible with modern knife making capabilities. This product was intricately developed for about a year until it performed precisely how we needed it to on multiple species of fish. This is the moment we discovered it would become a star at cleaning tables nationwide. Fisherman like us have never experienced the level of finesse this knife offers paired with the ability to withstand abuse the way all SORD products do. It's like the perfect combination of salt and pepper on a fresh wahoo steak. You'll agree the first time you feel it slice through a fish.

The Blackout Knife creates such an superior fish-cleaning experience that it deserves to be gifted and received with the same level of superiority. We crafted a matte black SORD gift box with silver chrome features that shine almost as bright as a new casting spoon in the August sun at high noon. The knife comes with a custom-fitted kydex sheath that will lock the knife inside with a click. This sheath is outfitted with a belt clip that will clip onto a 5-gallon bucket or onto your fishing shorts without the need to wear a belt.

The blade is hand sharpened to an angle of 20 degrees. We recommend sharpening all SORD knives at a 20 degree angle.
