8" FILLET KNIFE - SUPER FLEX

Due to the blade's thin backbone, the Super Flex can lay flush against a fish's rib cage and spine while riding right along the bones as you slice through a fillet, bending and curving with the bones rather than cutting into them. This allows for an easier way to remove more meat with less force. Stiffer blades take some more elbow grease from the fish cleaner to achieve this same result, so the Super Flex is a clear choice for filleting softer skinned and smaller boned fish. It is also phenomenal at removing the skin from your fillets. At 8" long, this blade can reach all the way through your big meatfish fillets after you've cleaned and removed them from the fish using a stiffer SORD blade. At that point it will lay perfectly flat on the table for you to walk your fillet right on through it.

The 8" Superflex was made for all thinner skinned or smaller fish including but not limited to: Wahoo, Trout, Flounder, Vermillion Snapper, Salmon, and almost any freshwater fish.

The knife comes with a custom-fitted kydex sheath that will lock the knife inside with a click. This sheath is outfitted with a belt clip that will clip onto a 5-gallon bucket or onto your fishing shorts without the need to wear a belt.

The blade is hand sharpened to an angle of 20 degrees. We recommend sharpening all SORD knives at a 20 degree angle.
