9" Serrated Blade

Hard scales, thick skin, big bones. That's why. The serrated blade was designed like any good weapon, built to deal damage with accuracy. A serrated carbon steel blade is the single most effective tool for slicing through swordfish bills, triggerfish and redfish scales, and any fish species who was designed with battle armor for skin. Our serrated blade is only scalloped on one side, which means the blade's serrations will deal proper damage to thick membranes, but the meat will be protected by the flat side of the blade when used as intended.

The knife comes with a custom-fitted kydex sheath that will lock the knife inside with a click. This sheath is outfitted with a belt clip that will clip onto a 5-gallon bucket or onto your fishing shorts without the need to wear a belt.

The blade is hand sharpened to an angle of 20 degrees. We recommend sharpening all SORD knives at a 20 degree angle.
