Fourth

Wanted to give a shout out to the crazy ones here. I have four SORDS now and each one does a different job. I have to say that the handling, the quality and the recognition of these knives are ones not to be without. It makes a person feel good when you say “hey, that’s a nice SORD you’re using there”.
I have had dozens of fixed blade knives and owned them because of their quality. One will never be unhappy if and when you purchase one of these beauties.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • The Rigging Knife fits snuggly in the leather tool sheath, along with any pair of pliers or cutters. This knife will come without a sheath, so if you plan to keep it on your hip like we do, grab a sheath for it to call home.

  • We designed this knife with the help of first mates in the Gulf of Mexico simply because they wanted the right tools for their job. Nobody should ever have to use a big bulky knife to make the precision cuts that matter when it comes to rigging baits.

  • The blade is hand sharpened to an angle of 20 degrees. We recommend sharpening all SORD knives at a 20 degree angle.

  • The knife is razor sharp right out of the box, but as any knife that sees excessive abuse, it will need to be sharpened. Visit our knife sharpening page to learn more about our recommended ways for sharpening your new knife.
